Gazebo Type And Roof Size
The Hartwood 9′ x 8′ FSC Quinton Gazebo is the Rolls Royce of gazebos. This is the gazebo you buy when you want to make sure you have the very best of the best. No matter if you are looking for somewhere to have a few friends round for drinks and diner, a place to have a fun game night with the kids or even just something that is going to look awesome in your garden, this gazebo will be perfect. This is a rather large gazebo as the width is 9 feet 3 inches and the depth is a just as impressive 8 feet 1 inch. This gives you a whole lot of room to make use of and with the height being an impressive 9 feet 7 inches at the peak and 5 feet 10 inches at the eaves, you also have plenty of headroom.
We really like the way they have designed the roof on this gazebo. They have gone for a very smart looking conical roof which does actually resemble the kind of roof you would see on a castle. They have made sure that the roof is also very strong and not just easy on the eyes. They have done this by making the roof from very strong tongue and groove boarding which we really like.
Cladding, Frame And Floor
Most of the gazebos that we have had the pleasure of looking at will have a little bit of cladding around the bottom. This one though kicks things up several notches by having the entire back section be fully cladded with some very nice looking and high quality tongue and groove cladding. This is a very interesting design choice and it will give you a bit more protection from the elements. At the front there is this same kind of cladding which is then accompanied by this very attractive criss cross framing which is certainly a lot different from the traditional lattice sides you would expect to see on a gazebo.
They have used a very robust 45 mm x 45 mm frame for this gazebo and if you do plan on having some kind of wild dance party in here or maybe even using his for your own illegal cage fighting ring, the frame is so strong that it makes the whole gazebo one very strong and sturdy structure that is able to take a bit of abuse. We really could not be any more impressed with the frame that they have used to keep this all together, we would actually go as far to say it is one of the best we’ve seen.
We love how they have gone and used tongue and groove boarding for the floor. It just looks so much better than cheaper boarding and we feel that the design of it goes very well with the rest of the gazebo. This floor is very thick and strong so it is going to be able to handle a lot of weight.
Treatment Requirement And Warranty
Giving that smart looking timber a coating of wood treatment is something that we would recommend you do shortly after installation. If you do this then you will ensure that the gazebo stays looking smooth and free from rot. We would advise that a fresh coating of wood treatment should be applied once a year so that the gazebo has a rot free life.
The Hartwood 9′ x 8′ FSC Quinton Gazebo comes with a 15 year anti rot guarantee which will cover you as long as you look after the gazebo in the right way.
This is one of the more spacious gazebos that we have seen. The space it offers is very impressive and you will easily be able to fit in plenty of friends, family members or just have a whole lot of space where you can go to get some peace from friends and family members. One really cool thing about this gazebo is that it actually comes with three high quality wooden seats that will fit along the back very nicely. These will come flat packed so it is entirely up to you if you want to use them.
With this being such a heavy and strong gazebo, you do not have to worry about it blowing over in the wind or even it becoming weak and flimsy as the years go by. This is one of the strongest and most well made gazebos that we have ever seen and we have zero concerns over its stability.
Customisation Options And Extras
When it comes to giving the gazebo your own personal touch there are many things that you can do. First of all, you can always give it a coating of coloured wood treatment. This way you can change the colour of the gazebo and also protect the wood at the same time. The roof provides you with plenty of room to hang various decorations and then there are those criss cross sides which we really like the way they are, but you could always use some climbing plants here.
As far as the extras go the only thing they are offering is a plastic shed base. which costs £199.99. This is a very strong base and it would strengthen and protect the floor, but it is not something that we feel is essential in any kind of way.
They really have made this gazebo with the intention of it being one of their very best. From top to bottom this is high quality all the way and we are very impressed with how it has turned out.
Longevity of Materials
They have not used any second rate materials here at all so you are going to get many years of use out of his gazebo. It will need a little love from you over the years, but it is actually quite low maintenance.
Offering you plenty of space this gazebo can be used for many different things. We feel that it is an ideal size as any larger would be too large in our opinion.
Ease of Installation
Get a friend to help you, take your time and you will have this installed far quicker than you may think. It is not an easy job and you are looking at 6-8 hours, but we have seen far harder and more awkward installation jobs than this.
This is one of the more expensive gazebos on the market and the reason for that is because it is made from the finest materials and it is also a very good size. So while the price is very high, we do feel that this is still something that is good value for money.
Final Thoughts: The Hartwood 9' x 8' FSC Quinton Gazebo really is a fine looking gazebo. They have just outdone themselves with this as it really does have a fantastic look and overall design to it. We really are very impressed with what they have done here and the overall quality is just incredible. The materials used are the very best and honestly we have no complaints at all with the way this is designed. The price though is what is going to be the sore point for many people as let’s face it the price is very high, but if you are willing to pay this kind of price or even save up for a while. Then we are certain that you are going to love having this gazebo in your garden.
