The timber used has been pressure treated providing the shed with a 15 year anti-rot guarantee, subject to periodic retreatment.

If you wish to paint your garden building, we recommend that you ALLOW 6 MONTHS BEFORE PAINTING PRESSURE TREATED TIMBER to allow the wood to fully cure and absorb the treatment. Paint applied any earlier may not adhere to the wood satisfactorily. The single door is ledged and braced, fitted with an integral rim lock for built-in security and hung with heavy duty galvanised hinges for a superior finish.

For longer lasting protection against the elements, this sleek pent roof of this shed features superior graded polyester-reinforced roof felt. Models with integrated log stores are also available. We recommend building your shed on a hard, flat surface such as decking or concrete. You can add Life Extending Floor Supports to your order. These are installed between your hard surface (such as slabs or concrete) and the floor joists of your outdoor building’s floor.

The bearers provide increased protection from damp and, therefore, rot by allowing air to circulate as well as increasing the distance between the building and the ground. The result is enhanced stability and longevity for your shed.
