Let's Take a Closer Look...
Shed Type and Roof and Size
This is a large log store and it should easily accommodate the general storage demand of anyone who has a wood burning stove, for example, as well as anyone who likes to use it a lot throughout the year. Measurements wise, the unit measures 161 cm wide, which goes down to 150.1 cm wide internally. The depth of the unit is 80 cm. This changes to 73.3 cm internally.
The roof takes the shape of a lid, which is solid sheet material. This is not the very best material you can have on a storage item, but it does provide some protection. The roof is covered by dark grey sand felt. Again, not ideal but it does a job. You may need to change it after a couple of years.
Cladding and frame and floor
The unit comes into its own here, with tongue and groove cladding used all round the storage box. This is the toughest stuff you can get, and it is a credit to BillyOh that it has included this. It is watertight, and interlocks so you get stronger timber all round.
Back to the solid sheet for the flooring. This is reasonably tough, but we would definitely choose tongue and groove if we could.
Treatment requirement and warranty
Just as with a lot of BillyOh items, you have pre-treatment in place via the factory. This means that you don’t have to worry about any annual treatment being applied. It’s all taken care of, and to a high degree of quality too.

Security and privacy
There is a handy turn locking system so you can have an added level of security for your logs all year round.
Customisation options
Apart from an assembly kit, you can also choose colours for your unit. We liked this option, and feel that it gave us plenty of choice too. It’s nice to be able to choose the colours, due to the fact that we can personalise the unit to our own requirements.
So, How Does It All Stack Up?

The tongue and groove does make a huge difference when it comes to quality, and we cannot fault it’s inclusion here. This is not a high price item, and seeing tongue and groove is a nice surprise. We feel the roof could have done with a little more work though.

There needed to be more work in the roof, but the tongue and groove should help in the body of the unit. However, we cannot see how solid sheet in the floor of anything is a good idea.

A massive amount of storage for logs here, so you shouldn't find it to be a problem, no matter how much you use your burner.

Simple and clear drawings help to get the thing together. Should take you no more than an afternoon.

At this price, compromise is built in, but solid sheet on the floor and the lid isn’t good.

Overall Score
Final Thoughts: As always, just a little thought in the materials would have helped massively. However, you have tongue and groove in there which is no bad thing. And it’s big enough to manage most log demands. Good value overall, with a tweak or two required.
