Looking for bifold shed doors? Now here’s a summerhouse that you can be really proud of! The Blenheim wooden summerhouse has stunning bi-fold shed doors which open fully so you can still enjoy the outdoors but remain inside. It is constructed out of long lasting and hard wearing wood and the glass panels of the doors allow plenty of light inside. With a long and fantastic looking roof and plenty of interior space it is going to look amazing as it stands with pride in your garden and it is going to last you a very long time. This building is home delivered.
While this is one very good looking summerhouse it is also made so that it is very robust. Thick tongue and groove shiplap cladding is used for the walls which is fantastic as it is high quality and it looks great, but one thing that we are sure will surprise many people is that the roof and floor are also made using tongue and groove boarding. Using this type of boarding for the floor and the roof ensures they fit in with the style of the rest of the summerhouse as well as being strong. Making sure the whole structure is strong is a thick 44 mm x 44 mm frame.

Let's Take a Closer Look...
Shed Type And Roof Size
Wow is what best describes the incredible, Blenheim 10 X 8 Shiplap Timber Summerhouse. It really is quite the spectacular structure offering you a whole lot of room to sit and enjoy a nice summer night with a glass of wine in your hand or maybe even as a place to sneak off to with the iPad and enjoy a movie on Netflix. This has plenty of room for you to make use of and as you can see from the pictures, you can easily fit in a couple of chairs, a table and many other things as well. At 9 feet 11 inches wide and 7 feet 7 inches deep there is plenty of internal space to use here. One other thing we must mention is the headroom. The eaves height is an incredible, 6 feet 4 inches high which really is quite amazing and even better is the 9 feet of headroom along the ridge.
The apex roof on here is very well made and while from the pictures you can only see that attractive looking felt, but underneath this are some very strong tongue and groove timber boards. These have not just been selected because of their strength and their ability to take the weight of a lot of snow, but also because they look great and much better than cheap, solid sheet boarding.
Cladding, Frame And Floor
How can you not love tongue and groove shiplap cladding? This is one of our favourite styles and with how many sheds, summerhouses and even playhouses are using it these days it is clearly a huge hit. As we expected this is solid, 12 mm thick cladding which in addition to be very easy on the eyes is also strong and long lasting.
You will want to spend as many warm summer nights in here as possible and even during the winter months sitting in here watching the snowfall would be pretty cool. Anyway to make sure this summerhouse is able to last lots of years a very strong and just incredible robust, 44 mm x 44 mm frame has been used. This thick and solid frame is going to really make sure this is something you can use for many, many years.
12 mm thick tongue and groove boarding is used for the flooring and we are very impressed with this. A lot of effort has gone into making sure this is a very nice looking place and a place where you want to spend time. These great looking floorboards make it feel much more homely than regular boarding and as they are so solid they are able to take a lot of weight.
Treatment Requirement And Warranty
A basecoat treatment is applied to all of the timber and this is the norm these days. This treatment is only for short term protection and it will look after that glorious timber while the summerhouse is transported and during installation. However to really keep that timber rot free, wood treatment is going to have to be applied within a couple of weeks of installation. A fresh coating on a yearly basis will really take excellent care of that timber.
By treating the Blenheim 10 X 8 Shiplap Timber Summerhouse, you will also be making sure that you are activating the very generous, 10 year anti rot guarantee that you get with this.
Doors And Windows
Well if there is one standout feature of this summerhouse it is those impressive looking, wide and just generally amazing bifold shed doors. On a summer day you can open these doors up and sit in the shade, but still be kind of outdoors. Also when they are closed they really do make the summerhouse look lovely. The sheer size of these doors is just amazing and will make bringing your furniture inside very easy. With both doors open, you have 6 feet 6 inches of width to get things inside, even the height is impressive at, 5 feet 11 inches.
The windows actually make up most of the doors and we really love how large these are. They are made with actual glass and they really do give the summerhouse just such a great look. There is a whole row of windows along the bifold doors and these allow light in during the summer and they keep the rain out when you are sitting in here in the winter.
Security And Privacy
Adding some security to the summerhouse is not going to cause you any headaches. Something like a pad bolt or even a padlock is something we would recommend if you do plan on putting a little TV or stereo inside here.
We really do love those large windows that pretty much run along the whole front of the summerhouse. However they really do make it easy for people to have a sneaky little look inside. We feel that a set of blinds on the windows, curtains or even fabric would take care of this and even if you just had the windows covered during the evenings or when you are not home it is something to consider doing.
Customisation Options And Extras
As this is one of the best looking summerhouses on the market right now, tinkering with its looks is really not something you want to be doing. However if you do want to jazz up the golden brown timber a little bit then use a coloured wood treatment or just go all out and paint it a whole new colour.
The only thing extra that we would suggest you strongly consider adding is a padlock. This can be picked up very cheaply though so it is not an extra that is going to make your wallet or purse cry. Also if you are worried about privacy then you may want to have a serious looking into some blinds, you can actually buy blinds that are specifically made for bifold doors.
So, How Does It All Stack Up?
This is one of the most high quality summerhouses we have seen. We can honestly say that no corners were cut when this was being designed.
Longevity of Materials8.5/10
This is one very strong structure so you will be getting many years out of this. However you will have to coat the wood with treatment in order to keep it rot free.
We are sure you are going to love having all that floor space and headroom to make use of inside here. The generous size of it makes spending time in here comfortable and it will also allow you to put quite a bit of furniture in.
Ease of Installation8/10
You will need a friend to help you out and you will both need to roll your sleeves up and prepare for about a 6 hour installation. This is large so it may be a little tricky, but as long as you do what the instructions tell you, you will get through this with your friendship and sanity intact.
Value for Money8/10
This is a high priced summerhouse, but we do feel that with how amazing it looks and the high quality materials which have been used that it is still offering very good value for money.
Final Thoughts: We feel that the, Blenheim 10 X 8 Shiplap Timber Summerhouse looks so incredible that many people will find it very hard to resist purchasing it. We really love what they have done with this and while the price is certainly not cheap it is still a summerhouse that we feel is worth the money due to its amazing design and the high quality materials which have been used in its construction. If you do not have the budget for this then we would suggest maybe holding off on buying that cheaper summerhouse and saving up a little longer to get this. For those of you who do have the budget, well stop messing around and buy this, we are sure you will not be disappointed.
