If you want to have a really serious stockpile of logs for the winter or for whatever you need them for, then the wide and spacious Superior Treated Redwood Triple Log Store could be the perfect log store for you. This has a very rustic design which gives it a charm that you just do not get from more modern looking log stores. It is very spacious as it is just over 7 feet wide and 2 feet deep. This means that you can either put a few logs in here and give them lots of space, or you can really load this up and have the most impressive log stockpile in town.
While they may not go into great detail about the materials used and the thickness of them, we can still tell you that this is clearly one very well made log store. It has been made with nice and thick timber that is also pressure treated. This means that once installed, you do not have to worry about painting the log store with wood treatment. The whole structure is kept together by a very well made frame that is robust so it will ensure the log store stays strong for many, many years.

Let's Take a Closer Look...
Log Store Type And Roof Size
The Superior Treated Redwood Triple Log Store is a very interesting kind of log store. We really like the style of this and we actually feel that it kind of looks a little bit like an old school bike shed. We really like the rather rustic design they have gone for and are sure that for people who love things that have a more classic look to them, this shed will be a real winner. This is one of the longer log stores that we have seen, coming in at just over 7 feet. The depth is 2 feet 7 which we would say is right around average for a log store these days. It stands at 4 feet 10 inches high which is right in line with what other log stores are offering.
The pent roof they have used slopes down towards the back. This is a design that we really like as it keeps the rain off the front of the log store. The roof is made with pressure treated boards so it is also very strong. Which is handy as we know many people will pick up a few logs, place them on the roof and then pick up some more.
Cladding, Frame And Floor
Slatted seems to be the style these days when it comes to log stores, but the Superior Treated Redwood Triple Log Store is actually fully boarded on the back and round the sides. They do not actually tell you how thick this classic looking pressure treated vertical cladding is, but we can tell this is some strong cladding. We are not sure how we feel about it being fully boarded as the slatted design most other log stores go for does allow for more air to get in and around the logs.
Much like the cladding, they do not give the exact dimensions of the frame. But you can tell from the photos that there is one very solid frame in here. Not only is there framing inside the log store, they have also used some extra framing at the front. This framing at the front not only helps support the roof, but it also kind of splits the log store into three sections.
The flooring of this log store is one of the most frustrating aspects to review. First of all let’s starts with the good. The flooring is a good few inches off the ground which is always what we want to see from a log store, but we cannot tell if the floor is fully boarded or slatted. We would assume that it is slatted as this is the best option for a log store, but with them not actually saying and the photos not showing the floor, there is no way to know for sure if the floor is fully boarded or slatted.
Treatment Requirement And Warranty
One of the best things about the Superior Treated Redwood Triple Log Store is that there is no need to treat the log store once you have installed it. This is because all of the timber that they have used in its construction has been pressure treated. This means that you do not even have to worry about treating the timber a few years down the line.
There is no mention at all about what kind of warranty this log store comes with. In our experience, any garden building that is made from pressure treated timber tends to have at least a ten year anti rot guarantee. We would still recommend that you ask them what the guarantee is that they are offering with this log store.
Doors And Windows
There is of course no door on the front of this log store, but the whole front of it is wide open. This is a good thing as the rest of the log store is fully boarded it will help the airflow around the wood which will help keep it in better condition. The open front also makes it very easy to reach in and grab logs when you need them.
Log stores very rarely have any kind of windows and this one here is no different.
Security And Privacy
Security is not really something that many log stores offer and the Superior Treated Redwood Triple Log Store is the same. The front of the log store is always wide open, but we are sure that the logs you place inside here will be safe and sound. This offers just as much security as any other log store we have seen.
Depending on where you placed this log store in your garden, you may actually get a little bit of privacy as the sides and back is fully boarded, you cannot tell what is in here from the back or sides. Sure it may not be a lot of privacy, but it is actually a little bit more than many other log stores offer.
Customisation Options And Extras
There are not any customisation options offered with this log store. To be honest with you, we feel that a huge part of the charm of this log store is the rustic design, so we are not sure we would want to tinker with the design anyway.
The Superior Treated Redwood Triple Log Store does not actually offer you any extras. Here at WhatShed, we actually see this as a good thing as it leaves more money in your wallet to really stock this log store up with a good supply of logs.
So, How Does It All Stack Up?
This is actually a very well made log store and one that also has a fantastic look to it. In general we are very pleased with the overall quality of this log store.
Longevity Of Materials8.5/10
As the wood is pressure treated, this log store will give you many years of use. Also you do not have to really do much at all in order to look after this.
We are very pleased with the storage space that this log store offers. The 7 feet of width really does allow you to store a huge amount of logs inside here. Many people find keeping their log stockpile topped up is quite addictive.
Ease Of Installation9/10
We do recommend that you have another person there to help you out as the long roof may be a bit on the fiddly side, but in general we really do not see even DIY novices having any issues putting this together.
Value For Money8/10
If we knew for sure that the floor was made with slatted boarding then we may have scored this a little higher. This may be a little higher priced that other log stores, but it does offer you that extra length which may be ideal for some of you. We actually think the asking price for this log store is not out of line at all.
Final Thoughts: At first glance, the Superior Treated Redwood Triple Log Store really does look incredible. We love the rustic design of it and are sure that it is the kind of structure that will give any garden it is placed in that extra bit of personality. We do wish they were more open about how this is made, especially in regards to the floor as we really would like to know for sure that it is made with slatted boarding. If you are the kind of person that likes to have a large supply of logs on the go, then the storage space offered by this log store makes it one that has to be on your shortlist.
