This summerhouse provides a lot for the money you invest, and there are plenty of features that make it a good choice. For example, you get extra thick framing that makes it a stronger building, as well as tongue and groove cladding. There’s also plenty of light through eight windows.

Let's Take a Closer Look...
Shed type and roof and size
Here we have a summerhouse that measures up at 202 cm in width, which reduces to 181.4 cm internally. As regards the depth of the building, it is 121.6 cm, reducing down to 117.2 cm internally.
The roof is a traditional apex roof, which gives plenty of headroom inside and also does it’s part when combatting rainwater. The roof has been created using solid sheet materials. We suppose this fits in with the pricing, but it isnt the strongest material available for a roof. The manufacturers have supplied mineral felt to help with rainwater, and this is a suitable level of protection. But we are not talking tongue and groove here.
Cladding and frame and floor
Things get better as we look at the framing. The manufacturers have included extra thick framing on the model. This is excellent news, because we see here a building that is not terribly expensive, but is still expected to stand up to wear and tear as it is being used for a summer house. And the manufacturer has delivered with the framing, which is robust enough to manage anything, and gives a pleasing solidity to the building. We didn’t expect this (because price rules a lot of things in the world of outdoor buildings) but they have managed it well.
The cladding that wraps around that incredibly thick frame is tongue and groove. Pretty much the gold standard in cladding simply because it is so heavy and watertight, it adds tremendous value to the building. Again, we were pleased to see this.
Then we come to the floor. The manufacturer has not supplied a floor as part of the purchase price. And frankly, having such good framing and cladding makes up for this. But you will need a floor. You will have to pay extra for the standard option of an economy solid sheet floor or go up to a tongue and groove floor.
In our eyes, the tongue and groove is the only real option. You need this summer house to withstand years of footfall, and this tongue and groove just complements the work in the walls, we think.
Treatment requirement and warranty
The BillyOh team come up trumps again with a factory pre-treatment being supplied. This means you have no worries about looking after that excellent cladding, because everything has been tested already. It’s a weight off your mind, and less work and cost.
Doors and windows
Plenty of light in the building due to there being eight windows. They are all fixed and do a very good job of bringing in that illumination. The windows are also glazed with styrene, which instantly gives you more security due to their being shatterproof.
Security and privacy
The styrene does a good job, but you will have to pay extra to have padlock and protector fitted.
Customisation options
Plenty of options here, as the manufacturer adds in things like padlock and protector sets, and even pressure treated bearers. We recommend the bearers for extra protection against damp, so that’s a good purchase to think about.
You obviously have some options in the flooring, and at £31.25 we don’t see the tongue and groove as being an issue. If you want you can chose shelving also for the interior of the building, but bear in mind its a summerhouse and you might want to think carefully about not overdoing it with shelving. You also have a wealth of options in color for the trim and the walls.

Final Thoughts: We think this is an exceptional building for the price, and to have tongue and groove included in that price is significant. But we really liked the fact that you get so many options in the building. This makes a big difference to the final building you own, and the choices you can make can transform it.
